If someone is defending themselves or their own from hateful, violent and dangerous bigots then doxing, responding with violence (even physical violence), getting a hateful fuckhead fired or cut down from their business, burning their reputation, etc is not sinking to their level.

There is no fucking way to sink to the level of a violent bigot who is targeting you or yours with their institutional privilege in your self defense because you aren’t the privileged one in the equation. You aren’t using your institutionalized power to do serious harm to someone else or put them at risk for serious harm. You are fighting back.

And I will fucking dare say it, a violent, murderous, hateful, malicious bigot doesn’t deserve to be spared their own methods. They don’t deserve their privacy kept intact from their bigoted shit, they don’t deserve to not be injured when you fight back, to not have their feelings hurt or to not feel anxious or upset because you slashed right back. They don’t deserve not to get fired or lose their business and livelihood cuz their hate was exposed.

So do not dare tell me I’m sinking to Bug’s level if I want her doxed and I want to get her fired from her lawyer job as she doxes and risks the lives, health and employment of tons of trans women. Do not fucking dare tell anyone that when they fight back against stalkers, harassers and rape threateners that telling those evil fucks to die or kill themselves is sinking to their level. Do not fucking dare to tell anyone who fought back and caused physical injury to an assaulting privileged fuck that they sunk to the level of their attacker.
